Come, come, whoever you are. Wanderer, worshiper, lover of leaving. It doesn't matter. Ours is not a caravan of despair. Come, yet again , come. — Rumi
We are so glad you've found our website and we wonder how it is that you came to Reiki? One of the fascinating things for me about Reiki is the wide variety of people who practice it. I think that speaks to the fact that Reiki simply helps us feel better.
Many of us come to Reiki because we are physically unhealthy, but it is my experience that physical ill-health is accompanied by an unhappy spirit. It doesn't matter which came first, physical or spiritual ill-health, but by starting now to attend to all of you - to your body, mind, and soul - you can experience a deep peace. Modern medicine has made it very clear that stress on our bodies underlies many diseases. Therefore, when we are at peace, our bodies can be more efficient in healing. For us, Reiki reduces our stress, promotes peace in our lives, and is a companion on our path to healing in a myriad of ways.
Reiki is a stress reduction method but also a spiritual path. Reiki is not a religion, although it is practiced by people from all of the world's major faiths, including Christians, Jews, Muslims and Buddhists. There is nothing in which you must believe to benefit from Reiki, though it does help to have an open mind. Many people feel better after just one Reiki session or their first Reiki class.
If you are interested in learning more about Reiki, we invite you to join one of our free events, sign up for a Reiki session, or take a Reiki class.
Peace and blessings, Grace
